In autumn 2024, Finnish electricity company Väre launched Smart Heating with Kapacity.io, enabling heat pump owners to optimize energy use. Customer insights led to the Smart Savings Contract, combining a fixed-price electricity plan with smart heat pump control, set to launch in August 2025.

In response to Austria’s reliance on Russian gas, a building replaced its gas boiler with heat pump Monoblock units. The system, installed on a specially insulated and protected base, has been successfully operating for over two heating seasons, with ongoing noise reduction improvements.

This building exemplifies sustainable construction through its design, execution, and final phase, achieving the highest level of energy rating.
