FRIGG is the first full-scale, industrial steam supplying heat pump in the world. The heat pump is installed at Felleskjøpet’s production facility and supplies live steam to the thermal pelleting process. The heat source is moist air, which is cooled below its dew point, allowing both sensible and latent heat to be recovered.
