Heat pumps in Denmark: insecurities about the heat pump technologies’ ability to heat the home at a low cost. The key to the business model is heat sales, rather than heat pump sales. The project owner – Insero – installs a heat pump by a home, a school or an office building. The heat pump is owned by Insero, and the consumer buys the heat from the heat pump at a fixed rate pr. kWh, Insero pays.
