In this project, we have designed, built, and commissioned a heat pump named “CoBra” which operates based on the reversed Brayton cycle. The CoBra uses air as the working fluid and aims to supply process heat up to 300°C and process cooling down to -40°C.
We successfully completed the commissioning in May 2024. Currently, the heat pump can operate at temperatures up to 220°C and -20°C.”
