Mersey Heat

The £28 m Mersey Heat Network in Liverpool uses one of the UK’s largest two-stage water-source heat pumps to supply low-carbon heat to 6,700 homes and 1.3 million m² of commercial space, delivering 20 GWh annually. The network can expand to 45 GWh, cutting 2,000 tCO₂ per year and reducing fossil fuel reliance.
