The Soviet-time blocks of flats in Eastern Europe consume energy twice as much as new ones. As a result of public campaign lots of houses started insulation projects on the last decade, but air-tight insulation and double-glazed windows created a new problem – original natural ventilation stopped working and indoor climate deteriorated.
