Swimming pool De Welle

Swimming pool De Welle

Swimming pools in general have to cope with high exploitation costs due to – amongst others – high energy costs. This project shows that savings and the use of renewable energy go very well together. The combination of Triple Solar PVT heat pump panels and a NIBE ground source heat pump provides the swimming center with a very energy efficient heating installation.

Remarks: On a yearly basis the installed system will approximately save 60,000 m3 of gas – just as much as the average annual gas consumption of 40 households – and approximately 350,000 kWh of electricity, which equals the annual consumption of about 118 households. This reduces the emission of CO2 with approximately 235,000 tons per annum.
