In the course of the project, a local heating network was established for the community and is in operation until today. This way, the households of the community and a sow rearing farm nearby benefit from regional, sustainable heat supply.
In Bosbüll, North Frisia, Gemany, we use advanced sector coupling of electricity and heat: Regional wind energy and solar power plants provide the energy for an air source heat pump generating low-emission and sustainable heat. The use of waste heat from two on-site electrolysers also increases the overall efficiency of the system and contributes to climate protection. This saves more than 380 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year.
