Renovation of building from 1864

Interesting feature of this renovation of the single family house is that it is a building from 1864, which was modernised in 1909. This house was purchased by young couple, because of its’ location, which is very close to the nature – in the wood, far away from the road. Nearby there are old oak trees that give even more romantic feel to the location.

The building is going through a general renovation. In 2021 central heating instalation and radiators were replaced. What is more photovoltaic instalation was mounted on the old stable building, which is now an utility building. The next step was to use a air-to-water heat pump as an only heating source. This was not easy job, as the outdoor unit of the heat pump is located next to the utility building, 10m from the house. The indoor unit integrated with the domestic water tank is located in the small bathroom in the house itself.
