10 MW Heat Pump based on sewage water

Situated in Kalundborg town, at the heart of the world-famous Industrial Symbiosis, Kalundborg Utility company has a strategy where sustainability and innovation are key motivating factors. The energy of the treated sewage water is used in a heat pump, where the return temperature of the district heating is lifted from approx. 50 degrees Celsius till 70-80 degrees Celsius before it is returned to the consumers.
